Switching to renewable energy in your greenhouse raises many questions. That is why we are soon launching a call for application: from 1 June, you can apply for guidance.
Which options are technically feasible? What is realistic for your business? Where do you start? We are launching a voucher call for greenhouse growers who are considering an energy transition and would like practical, independent support to get there.
How does it work?
- From 1 June: submit your application.
- Selected applicants receive tailored guidance from an energy expert.
What can you expect?
The support programme is designed to guide you step by step :
- an initial online meeting to discuss your greenhouse, technical characteristics, and expectations
- an on-site visit to assess your current energy use and explore possible improvements and renewable energy options
- a final online meeting to present the results, answer your questions and help you define possible next steps
This guidance will help you to gain a clearer view of your current energy situation, explore and compare realistic options for your greenhouse and make more informed decisions about future investments or next steps.
Who can apply?
The call is open to:
- greenhouse growers with heated greenhouses
- producers planning to install a heating system
- local authorities managing heated greenhouses
